Digital Cinema Production

Learn how to produce a short film during this intensive workshop. Students ages 13-17 (students turning 13 years old in 2018 are eligible to participate) will work as a team to storyboard, direct, shoot, and edit a short script using local actors on location at the Dominion Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Learn industry techniques and crew positions while getting hands-on production experience with professional equipment, and leave with a short film you can add to your reel.

This camp runs June 25-29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with drop off beginning at 8:45 a.m, in the Genworth Brightlights Education Center’s Digital Arts Lab:
Dominion Energy Center
600 E. Grace Street
