A native of Richmond, Virginia, Steve Bassett's legendary musical style is a synthesis of America's Root Music, Blues, R&B, Gospel, and Rock & Roll. He has produced 20 albums and his song “Sweet Virginia Breeze”, coauthored with Robbin Thompson, is the official Popular State Song of Virginia.
