Richmond Performing Arts Alliance (RPAA) is excited to announce that the Genworth Lights Up! Youth Series is back and “On the Road” again this season! This series offers youth ages 3-18 the opportunity to partake in workshops and experience performances by local arts groups in community centers and schools across the region. Workshops are free for everyone to attend and pre-registration is encouraged but not required.

Workshops and performances are determined based on input and requests from RPAA’s partners, hosts, and artists to best represent the particular community’s needs in the space where the event is being hosted. It is RPAA’s goal to continue to present non-western art forms to ensure that students feel represented at these events.

The Genworth Lights Up! Youth Series uplifts RPAA’s mission to nurture the artists of tomorrow by providing equitable access to the arts and arts education to youth throughout the region.

The season kicks off at Henrico High School | Center for the Arts on September 30 at 10:00 am! Workshops and performances will be announced prior to each event via RPAA’s website and weekly e-blast. See the full schedule below:
