the Arts – a fully curated entertainment experience taking place on November 3, 2023 at 6:00
pm in Dominion Energy Center. New this year, partygoers will enjoy a special awards
presentation honoring leaders in arts education. The evening will consist of performances by
local artists, an intimate cabaret seated on the stage of the historic Carpenter Theatre featuring
“Broadway The Calla-way!” starring Ann Hampton Callaway & Liz Callaway, an afterparty
dessert reception, and more!

Richmond Performing Arts Alliance (RPAA) is the core support organization for the performing
arts in the Richmond region. Since the opening of Dominion Energy Center and Altria Theater,
RPAA has expanded the BrightLights Education Initiatives and increased support for local artists
and arts organizations, with a special focus on the venues’ Resident Companies.
Through funding to make performance spaces accessible, training and employment
opportunities for Teaching Artists, inclusive arts education programs, and advocacy for the
sector, RPAA is the core support organization for the performing arts in the Richmond region.
To date, RPAA has served more than 3.5 million patrons and engaged over 53,000 students,
teachers, and families with an investment of more than $4 million in arts education for the
region.
